Amanda's Photographic Approach
I focus on working with natural light and focus on capturing the tiniest details that create the ambiance and set the day and event apart. My favorite time of the day to take pictures is golden hour, because nothing is more magical than the sunlight creating that dreamy glow that looks amazing for portraits and weddings. However, the natural landscape has some raw color on rainy days, too! Just be sure to have a jacket with you.
My editing style is primarily light and airy, with a bit of warmth, and naturally vibrant. Edits are intentionally limited, with the exception of adjusting lighting, as well as removing blemishes and distracting objects, so that they stay as true to the session as possible.
The goal is to capture your photos as close to memory as possible so that they only feel like it was just yesterday that you were in a fun and enjoyable session getting your photos taken during a time in your life where you were living it to the fullest.
